Galactic Civilizations as you knew it is down and isn't coming back.
As was announced sometime last year we re-wrote the entire website from scratch with a litany of improvements.
This re-write was finished some time ago however we haven't brought the website back up yet.

As perfectionists, before bringing Galactic Civilizations back again, we're going to make sure everything is perfect, or it isn't happening.
Even though the re-write is complete, there are still things to be done.
If and when Galactic Civilizations returns, it will have little resemblance to the old website, perhaps not even the name.
We want to experiment and create something fun and different, and not necesserilly for other people to enjoy, but just to see if it can work.

At the moment, our development website is available only to us and a few other people, but we would welcome input and help.
If you're artistic and would like to lend a hand picking colours or creating images, you would be most welcome.
Similarly, if you're opinionated and have time to spare, we'd like you to help with ideas and QA (quality assurance); opinions, ideas and constructive criticisms are always welcome.

In the meantime, this placeholder will remain here. If and when we finish, we'll send out a mass email to every account.
